Gli stivali Gaerne SG12 sono stati rigorosamente testati e sono dotati del sistema “Dual Stage Pivot” che protegge la caviglia in due modi (sia da compressione che da lesioni da torsione). Gli stivali hanno una protezione sullo stinco in forma anatomica che fornisce sia protezione dagli impatti che assorbimento degli urti. La larghezza del gambale dello stivale può essere facilmente estesa per adattarsi alla maggior parte dei piloti. La suola SG-12 ha un nuovo look ed è realizzata in gomma anti-shock Gaerne “Dual Composite” che ha reso le suole di Gaerne famose in tutto il mondo.
Dual Stage Pivot System: un sistema brevettato a due stadi che consente il corretto movimento anatomico della caviglia e protegge da lesioni torsionali e da compressione.
Il primo perno crea un rinforzo forte e stabile sullo stivale mentre il secondo perno dà una sensazione flessibile e corretta nella posizione diguida. I perni si bloccano in caso di incidente e prevengono i danni sia alla torsione che alla compressione, contribuendo nel contempo alle proprietà ammortizzanti dello stivale.
Il gambale è dotato di un “Grip Guard” in gomma resistente, che offre una presa eccezionale sulla motocicletta e protegge l’interno della gamba dal calore.
La protezione dello stinco in materiale termoplastico di forma anatomica offre una perfetta aderenza e una protezione ammortizzante per lo stinco. Rimuovendo tre viti, la larghezza di entrata può essere allargata per adattarsi a gambe più ampie o protezioni.
Gli stivali SG-12 sono dotati di quattro fibbie leggere fissate a cinghie regolabili.
La parte superiore dello stivale è realizzata con un nuovo materiale traspirante svizzero chiamato Acronos. La ghetta è estremamente elastica e offre la misura perfetta per tenere sabbia e altri detriti fuori dallo stivale.
Lo stivale è foderato con “Gaerne Memory Cell Foam” che dona una sensazione confortevole e una vestibilità duratura.
La protezione del tallone è progettata per assorbire gli urti e proteggere dalla compressione.
I nuovi stivali SG-12 hanno una calzata migliorata con una punta più stretta che dà una sensazione e un contatto migliori con la leva del cambio e le pedane.
L’intera parte anteriore del piede è ricoperta da un nuovo materiale plastico che è più leggero e offre maggiore comfort e sensazione, mantenendo il peso dello stivale al minimo.

The Gaerne SG12 boots have been rigorously tested and feature the “Dual Stage Pivot” system which protects the ankle in two ways (both from compression and torsional injuries). The boots have an anatomically shaped shin guard that provides both impact protection and shock absorption. The width of the boot shaft can be easily extended to fit most riders. The SG-12 sole has a new look and is made of Gaerne “Dual Composite” anti-shock rubber that has made Gaerne soles famous throughout the world. Dual Stage Pivot System: a patented two-stage system that allows correct anatomical movement of the ankle and protects against torsional and compression injuries. The first pin creates a strong and stable reinforcement on the boot while the second pin gives a flexible and correct feel in the riding position. The pins lock in the event of a crash and prevent both torsional and compression damage, while contributing to the shock-absorbing properties of the boot. The leg is equipped with a durable rubber “Grip Guard”, which offers exceptional grip on the motorcycle and protects the inside of the leg from heat. The anatomically shaped thermoplastic shin protector offers a perfect fit and shock-absorbing protection for the shin. By removing three screws, the entry width can be widened to accommodate wider legs or guards. The SG-12 boots feature four lightweight buckles attached to adjustable straps. The upper part of the boot is made from a new Swiss breathable material called Acronos. The gaiter is extremely stretchy and offers the perfect fit to keep sand and other debris out of the boot.
